The Office's Angela Martin Once Wore The Same Outfit As Elizabeth The Stripper

As is the case with most "Office" Reddit threads, it quickly descends into a series of quotes and inside jokes from the sitcom itself. But many people have genuine questions about the seemingly similar outfits. After all, the nurse outfit first comes into play in Season 4, only to emerge again in Season 7 with "Costume Contest." Angela insists she got it from a Halloween store, but could Elizabeth have left it hanging around Dunder Mifflin?

Redditor u/SilentMaster has a pretty straightforward explanation, "Probably bought it from the same Halloween City in Scranton." Of course, there's the little matter of size, but u/stevedaher could've sworn there's an in-canon reasoning behind it: "Pretty sure it's mentioned in the office ladies podcast that it was in fact the same actual outfit." 

As it turns out, that Redditor is right on the money. If you listen to the "Office Ladies" podcast episode, "Fun Run Part 2," Angela Kinsey reveals it is the same exact costume. She stated, "I wore that outfit, the exact same one, and it was a little too big for me, so I had to wear a little lace tank top underneath it and ... they gave me the chicken cutlets to make everything a little bigger." There are plenty of things about Angela that don't make sense, but at least "Office" fans can rest easy knowing this mystery is solved.
