To be fair to the "Naruto" fanbase, Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant usually isn't the first ability most fans think of when tasked with identifying the franchise's most powerful technique. That said, there are plenty who have proposed that the frog song is, in fact, deadliest, to the extent that in at least a couple of online polls it comes out ahead of typically more popular Infinite Tsukuyomi.
Two threads on a popular "Naruto" forum Fanverse.org, for example, polled users to pick between the Infinite Tsukuyomi and the Toad Confrontation Chant as the franchise's number one ability. Both times the Toad Confrontation Chant came out ahead among Fanverse.org users. Posts by users defending this choice frequently cite the fact that, while their effects are similar, the Toad Confrontation Chant is more useful against large numbers of enemies and therefore stronger.
On Reddit too, users like xaviorpwner and KhaoticTwist have shared arguments for why the frog song is the strongest attack in "Naruto." Like countless other elements from throughout the series, the Toad Confrontation Chant may be goofy on the outside, but that exterior belies its immense power.
