James Gunn Finally Introduces The World To Blurp, Guardians Of The Galaxy 3's Cutest New Critter

Shortly after the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" trailer debuted, Marvel fans began to express their love for Blurp. "I need a Blurp plushie now as he's adorable!" shared Twitter user @supermangeek101. Another fan suggested that Blurp toys will be extremely popular. "Clearly, Kang has not planned for Blurp," joked user @TomWritesNow. Details on Blurp are slim and it remains to be seen just how impactful the creature is on the main narrative.

An early shot in the trailer shows the entire "Guardians of the Galaxy" team walking together. Look closely between Nebula ( Karen Gillan) and Mantis (Pom Klementieff), and viewers can see a creature that looks similar to Blurp walking alongside the roster. Seeing as a decent portion of the trailer focuses on Rocket Raccoon's backstory and the surgery done on him, it's possible that Blurp and the Guardians member know one another. One thing's for certain, however: Blurp is more than likely going to be the source of many memes once the threequel releases.
