Initially, "Star Wars" fans labeling Chopper a war criminal was a running joke within the fandom. However, at this point, it's seemingly become ingrained in the droid's personality, with Dave Filoni even bringing his psychopathic nature to "Ahsoka."

In Episode 2, "Part Two: Toil and Trouble," Hera (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Chopper chase after a rogue ship carrying a hyperdrive core for Morgan Elsbeth's (Diana Lee Inosanto) ship. As the transport opens fire on them, Chopper and Hera discuss how to deal with it, eventually deciding to use a tracking beacon so they can find the shipment later. On the surface, this conversation seems like any other, with Hera understanding Chopper's Droidspeak, a fairly common occurrence in "Star Wars." However, TikTok user EckhartsLadder cleared up what Chopper said in this scene, proving the droid still has a hunger for blood.

"Shoot it down," Chopper suggests, which Hera strikes down as the ship and the massive hyperdrive would then crash into the port city below, killing who knows how many people. The droid then displays his seemingly endless bloodlust and disregard for innocent lives, asking, "Is that bad?" before Hera tells him to ready the tracking device.

At this point, it seems Filoni is very much in on the joke surrounding Chopper's war criminal status. The "Star Wars" legend not only created the droid and "Star Wars Rebels" but also voices him in animation and live-action. With him now running "Ahsoka," Chopper's kill count could certainly reach even new heights.
